Pinecrest Community is a Christian nonprofit continuing care retirement community located in the heart of beautiful Ogle County in the village of Mt. Morris in northwestern Illinois, just south of Rockford and 110 miles west of Chicago.

Since 1893, Pinecrest has been serving the regional community with best-in-class retirement and nursing home care. At our lovely pine-dappled campus you will find all you need for retirement in our continuing care environment including a state-of-the-art Alzheimer's unit.

As you peruse our site you will find detailed information on the amenities we have to offer, the experience we have to share, and the caring, friendly staff and residents that belong to our tight-knit community. Pinecrest is more than just a great place to live, it is a place to call home.

Pinecrest is known for our commitment to quality care and it shows in the faces of our staff and residents. Whether you are looking for a place to retire or need specialized care and attention, Pinecrest is surely the best place to be.

Renz Scholarship Application Deadline Extended

Applications are now being received through April 30, 2020 for the James E. Renz Pinecrest Memorial Scholarship. Pinecrest Village Stay-at-home Update

Posted 3/22/2020 (updated 3/24/2020)

Pinecrest Village Stay-At-Home Guidance

The Governor of Illinois has issued a Stay-At-Home order effective today, 3/21/20, at 5 pm through April 7th. For details visit this FAQ document at Illinois.gov.

Please refrain from having anyone in the congregate apartment building unless they are here for medically necessary reasons. If you have someone helping you with medicines, personal care, laundry, etc., they can continue to do so.

You should avoid going out of the building unless it is for medically necessary reasons or for essential items such as grocery, pharmacy or gas.

Beauty/barber services have been temporarily suspended during this time.

Pinecrest Cottage residents and Pinecrest Grove residents should use their best judgment regarding visitors to their homes. We recommend that you limit visits to a very small number of family members and remain in your homes unless you need to leave for a medically necessary reason or for essential items such as grocery, pharmacy or gas.

If you would like me to help you connect with your Pinecrest Village family member through a video chat, please contact Lili in the Village during regular office hours and she will work to help set a time for that to happen. Please call 815-734-4103 to schedule your chat or if you have questions.
