Caring. Committed. Christian.
For nearly 125 years, Pinecrest Community, located in Mt. Morris, Illinois, has offered older adults the opportunity to be a part of a caring community. Since its founding, Pinecrest has continuously found new ways of servicing our residents, enhancing their well being, individuality and self-worth.
Pinecrest Community has a heritage of more than 120 years of caring for seniors. Originally started by the Church of the Brethren as "Brethren Home," to care for the elderly and orphans in 1893, Pinecrest has developed into a vibrant, active community of over 200 seniors living in active-adult cottage homes at Pinecrest Grove, Pinecrest Village independent apartments and homes, Pinecrest Manor intermediate and skilled care living, and Pinecrest Terrace, a state of the art specialized Alzheimer's/Dementia care center. We still maintain and are proud of our nonprofit 501 (c) 3 status, confirmation of which can be viewed by clicking on the highlighted link.
Today, Pinecrest's Christian heritage and church affiliation still guide our efforts to do what we've always done, and what we do best: providing our residents with the resources to lead rich, rewarding lives.
